BASIC OVERVIEW OF FIELD TRIPS @ JPLEX!

Who Typically Participates in Field Trips @ JPLEX?

Typically, it is schools that will participate in field trips. While Field Trips @ JPLEX can be great for students of all grades & ages, we most typically see younger students (Pre-K through Middle School) as our participants

How Are Field Trips @ JPLEX Scheduled and What is the Process?

Field Trips @ JPLEX are scheduled by schools/organizations. The process sees them visit our Field Trip Page on JPLEX.com, view details/videos outlining what to expect then physically book using our Square based Field Trip Scheduling Tool

What Happens After a School has Booked their Date/Time?

(2) automatic notifications are triggered at the time of booking:

  • The person who booked on the school's behalf will receive a confirmation of notification via email/text based on the information they provided during the scheduling process.
  • Included in their confirmation email (not TEXT) should be a link to our FIELD TRIP GOOGLE FORM
  • Using the information they provide, we will then make staffing/activity schedule/equipment needs decisions. Here is a basic guideline for staffing needs:
  • EVERY FIELD TRIP REQUIRES (2) JPLEX STAFF: (1) Leadership Staff Member and EITHER (1) Additional Leadership Staff OR (1) Support Staff)
  • (50)-(75) Participants REQUIRES: (1) Leadership Staff Member and (2) other staff members of either Leadership or Support Levels to see (3) TOTAL STAFF!
  • (75+) Participants REQUIRES: (1) Leadership Staff Member and (3) Support Staff OR (2) Leadership Staff Members and (2) Support Staff
  • Caveat is ALWAYS that if can meet the above requirements with ONLY LEADERSHIP STAFF, that is our ideal situation.

How/When Do Schools Pay Their Balance?

  • Schools need to receive an Invoice from use using our Square Invoicing Tool. That Invoice will represent the FINAL BILL unless they bring more students than estimated OR they specifically request a reduction due to bringing less students and in that case approval from JPLEX OWNER- JOSH TOLBERT is REQUIRED
  • Payments can be received via Check (written out to Junction Place Sportsplex) / Card (via square)
  • Checks CAN be Mailed! Please use Junction Place Sportpslex, 5620 Crawford St. Harahan LA, 70123
